Effective 13 May 2026
AusVisa Tracker is a local-first app. We don't collect, store, sell, share, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts to create, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. Everything you enter stays on your device.
None. We operate no servers that receive user data, run no analytics, and use no third-party SDKs that collect personal information.
The following data is stored locally in the app and never leaves your device automatically:
On iOS this data is stored in a SQLite database protected with NSFileProtectionComplete, plus secure storage for preferences. On Android, the app sets allowBackup=false so this data is excluded from device backups.
The app makes a single type of outbound request: fetching public Australian visa processing-time averages from our Cloudflare Worker at https://ausvisa-processing-times.kieran-4729.workers.dev. These requests contain only the public visa subclass identifier (for example 189 or 491) — never anything you've entered into the app, and never any identifier for you, your device, or your installation.
The Worker returns a curated JSON payload. Cloudflare may log standard request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for service health and abuse prevention, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not access these logs to identify users.
If you enable the biometric app lock in Settings, your device's operating system performs the Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint check entirely on-device. Apple and Google never share your biometric data with the app, and we never receive or store it.
When you tap Share or Export CSV, your operating system's share sheet decides what happens next. Where the file goes (Mail, Files, Messages, another app) is your choice. Once content leaves AusVisa Tracker, it's governed by the destination app's policies, not this one.
This app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected, no special handling for children is needed.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
Questions about this policy can be sent to support@ausvisatracker.com.
